Map with light spotting and tear at crease; interior with light spotting, spine lightly cocked, shelfwear. In custom half morocco slipcase.

First edition, first issue with "business" in line 11 of p 40 and ads dated "5.G.4.86" and "5.B.4.86." With Check Signed ("R.L. Stevenson"), 1 p, 125 x 80 mm, Vailima, June 21, 1892, paid to the order of J.H. Moors in the amount of one shilling.
Provenance: John Barrymore (bookplate). Actor Barrymore starred in a 1920 version of Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde.
