Terms and Conditions
1. All bids are per lot-no lots will be broken.
2. Invoices must be paid within 3 days of receipt or coins cannot be returned.
3. Shipping, handling, and postage will be added for lots delivered by mail.
4. Any lot REMOVED from original holder is considered SOLD!
5. No lots may be returned by an bidder without our permission. Request to return coins must be made in writing/email within THREE days of receipt of coins. Authenticity concerns must be returned by no later than seven days after the auction.
Forms of Payment
Payment of purchase price, including hammer price, buyer's premium, and applicable taxes, is due in full at time of sale. Payment may be made by cash, credit card (including Visa and MasterCard, each subject to a four percent [4%] convenience fee) or approved personal or business check. Checks may be required to clear their issuing financial institutions before shipment or removal of purchases. Unless exempt by law, all sales are subject to Virginia Sales Tax, now levied at a rate of six percent [6%]. Purchasers issuing returned checks are subject to a returned check fee [minimum $25.00] including any associated expenses and may be considered in default.
Please remit payment by check, cashier's check, or wire transfer along with a copy of the invoice. For purchases under $2000.00 credit cards are accepted. We accept Master Card, Visa and American Express. There is a 4% service fee for use of a credit card.

ACCURACY OF DESCRIPTIONS AND AUTHENTICITY. QW has made every effort to accurately describe and catalog all property to be sold. Major defects, where evident, have been noted, along with comments regarding overall condition. Shipping of Books, Autographs
Quinns Auctions /Waverly Books ONLY ship with FedEx Domestic and USPS internationally. We do not ship Media Mail. Shipping costs are based on the weight of your lots and your location. We require a complete shipping address and phone number to process your shipping quote. You will receive your shipping quote in your invoice via your registered email. Once payment is received Quinns/Waverly Books will ship items FedEx ground in the United States, USPS International or release items to an outside shipper.
Only Books, and select other smaller items, will be packed and shipped by Quinn's & Waverly Auctions Staff. Each individual book is carefully wrapped and packed with wrapping to fill medium size boxes. Please contact for details.
Invoices will be emailed by the Tuesday following the sale, at the latest. Payment is expected within 5 days of receipt of this invoice.
There will be a minimum $10 packing fee per box included in your shipping quote. To estimate shipping charges, assume that the average book weighs 3 pounds; large books can be in excess of 10 pounds. We include approximately 10 average size books per box. Go to Fedex and quote your desired shipping service with your estimated weight. Don't forget to include the $10 per box handling fee.
Quinns/Waverly Books reserves the right to recommend an outside shipper based on fragility and size of lot. We offer recommendations for outside shipping by trusted shippers if necessary. Special shipping instructions cannot be guaranteed unless arrangements are made before or immediately following the sale. Buyers may choose to have a third party pick up and pack their books. You may contact The UPS Store (703) 536-1000, or Craters & Freighters (703) 796-0180. If you choose to have you item(s) shipped the third party shipper must produce the invoice for your items for Quinn's to release your item(s).
Buyer's Premium
A buyer's premium of 20% will be added to the hammer price of each lot sold. The buyer's final purchase price per lot is the total of the lot hammer price, the lot buyer's premium, any applicable taxes, and an additional fee of 5% from the Invaluable site. Sales taxes on Purchases
The Virginia sales tax, Currently levied at a rate of [6%], is applied to the total purchase price of each lot unless exempt by law. International bidders are responsible for any and all country-specific taxes.
