The following 7 lots were bequeathed to the charity Paintings in Hospitals from the Estate of Edward Dutkiewicz 1961-2007 Note: Edward Dutkiewicz was a British visual artist known for his use of bright colours and abstract forms, reminiscent of Calder and Matisse. He was born of wartime Polish immigrant parents in Tamworth, Staffordshire in 1961, and died of complications of multiple scerosis in 2007. Dutkiewicz's obituary can be found in The Guardian and The Independant Edward Dutkiewicz, British 1961-2007- Three flowers; oil on canvas, 88.5x69cm: together with another oil on canvas by the same artist depicting the study of a man and an untitled abstract figure, 102x63cm and 100x84.5cm respectively (unframed) (3) Provenance: Paintings in Hospital, London
