SNITKER, Willem (Dutch 1938). Valley of the Jolly hohoho Green Giant, 1970. Screen print in colours, dated '16 VIII 70' and numbered I/I (lower left); inscribed with title, marked with 'Made in Holland' and the artist copyright stamp (lower centre); signed in full in pencil (lower right), framed behind glass, image size 46.5 x 66.5, frame size 64 x 84 cm. Good condition. Unique work.

Jolly Green Giant is the mascot of the company General Mills. The title of the artwork refers to the popular advertisement of canned vegetables featuring the character, which was first shown on the American TV in 1958.
