Mitchell, The Dictionary of British Equestrian Artists, Woodbridge, 1985, p.106. NOTES Thomas Barratt of Stockbridge, near Liverpool, painted landscapes and equestrian portraits. His patrons included the well-known racing enthusiast, John Gully.
