THREE ARCHAISTIC JADE
HUANG PENDANTS

Late Qing Dynasty

Comprising one perforated at one end for stringing, decorated with a
chi dragon in low relief within line borders, the reverse carved a single
huang character over reduced ground, the celadon stone stained black and brown; one arched pendant with a dragon head on either end, the mane and scaled body finely detailed, perforated on both ends for stringing, the stone stained reddish-brown in areas; the small pendant carved with a pair of
chi dragon in high relief, the reverse with 'C'-scrolls in shallow relief, perforated on one side, the stone stained black. (3)


Huang: 3 5/8in (8.3cm) wide;
Dragon-head huang: 3 13/16in (9.7cm) wide;
Small huang: 2in (5cm) wide
