Original vintage travel advertising poster published by Australian travel association. Fantastic artwork by the notable artist James Northfield (1887-1973) featuring men on horses driving their herd of cattle across water in the Australian outback, the title below with the kangaroo logo of the Australian National Publicity Association. James Northfield helped promote Australia as a tourist destination through his artwork that captured the essence of life in the country during the 1930s-1940s. Printed in Australia by Photolitho, McLarens of Melbourne. Very good condition, bumps in bottom margin, faint staining, backed on linen.
