Two Ken Mihara (b. 1958) Izumo Ware Ceramics, Japan, 1994, one with a rectangular body with straight sides, two sides slightly flaring towards the mouth rim, resting on a rectangular bottom with two opposing stepped sides alternating with two flat sides, stoneware with natural ash glaze, unglazed bottom of "clay favor," "Ken" mark on base, titled and signed box with a seal on the cover, ht. 8; the other multifaceted, with rectangular mouth and flat base, convex rectangular cover unglazed multi-fired stoneware with gradual wave designs, "Ken" mark on base, with a box titled "wind and wave decorated burner" and signed with a seal on the cover interior, ht. 6 1/2 in.
