Two Works by Joseph Kurhajec (b. 1938)
the first is titled "Bird with Moon," signed at lower left, dated 1970, under glass with black frame (DOA 31 x 23 in.); and the second titled "Monkey Hair with Pedestal," signed at lower right, dated 1968, matted and framed under glass (DOA 38 x 28.5 in.).



Joseph grew up on an exotic animal farm, which obviously influenced his work and choice of materials.
