Shimpan Oranda uki-e Ajiashu Maurirya-o keibo (Newly published Dutch perspective picture: The Tomb of King Mausolus, Asia) Signed Kuninaga ga and published by Izumiya Ichibei--good impression, faded, worming holes, some repaired, stained and soiled oban yoko-e : 25.5 x 38cm. NOTES Kuninaga creates a fanciful view of the mausoleum of Halicarnassus, another of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World like the pyramids, lot 109. The tomb was built by order of Artemisia, widow of the King of Anatolia, Mausolus.
