Vasili Levi, Russian 1878-1954- Figure in a village street in winter; oil on canvas, signed, in an early 20th century gilt gesso reverse profile frame, 61.5x50cm. Provenance: Purchased by the current owner's family in Finland circa 1937/38. The scene may be a Finnish village view as the artist worked for some years in that country.
