Very rare rigmate pair of red breasted mergansers, Harold Thengs, Norway and Babylon, Long Island, New York, circa 1930's.
Very rare long neck style.
Mostly original paint; white areas on drake have old in use touch up; the other has original paint with minor wear; small cracks in drake's bill and neck; additional touch up on parts of the black area on front of drake's neck; hen has several small crack
