Notes

A view at Claes Oldenburg in his studio, Andy Warhol on the phone or discussing projects with his team? Roy Lichtenstein dreaming in his office, or an exhibition at the Sidney Janis Gallery including Kienholz' Back Seat Dodge '38? Dutch artist Jean Paul Vroom went to New York to visit the pioneers of pop art and captured it all. The negatives of his reportage are now for sale. Very interesting collection of this multitalented artist: painter, (scenic) designer, graphic artist, book illustrator and - and as we now know - a gifted photographer too [Full description available as from May 29]
