A collection of lyrical poems for children: "Vesna [Spring]," "Zyablik [The Finch]," "Dyatel [The Woodpecker]," "Rybak [The Fisherman]" and "Osen" [Autumn]." A. Poret was an important modern Russian painter and children's book illustrator who studied with Pavel Filonov. As the lover of Daneel Kharms, she worked squarely at the center of the Russian Avant-Garde. She later illustrated the first edition of A.A. Milne's Winnie the Pooh in Russian.
