Emanating from the visual appearance of things, Burger achieved an independent, abstract design vocabulary and thus the viewer can only have a presentiment for the object the artist had before him. This lithograph in colors by Swiss artist from 1980 depicts one such abstract-figurative composition consisting of dynamic drawn lines and geometric shapes that seem to have no representational factor.

The lithograph is signed and dated in pencil at the lower right ‘Burger 1980’ as well as inscribed in pencil at the lower left ‘für Josef Kovacs’. It is in a very good condition. The image dimensions are 48.7 x 65.2 cm, while the sheet size measures 50.2 x 70 cm. (nlu)
