LOT 124 ''HIGHWAY TO WEST'' -Sheet size: 21 7/8 x 30 1/4 -Matted; framed -Sheet has tape around the outer edges, whhich is not visible when work is framed; in this area with tape, there are, at regular intervals, slits in the sheet (apparently from a stapler?). On top of parts of this boardering tape, there is brown packing tape and some masking tape, which holds the work to the undermat. -The watercolor itself appears to have fine, brownish, spotty-like toning, visible in sky and to parts of wood planks. This may be a condition problem rather than part of painter''s technique.
