Item Overview

Description

Ward E. Herrmann hand carved cardinal bird on pedestal in plastic case. We have the original sales receipt from 1997, purchase price at that time was $700. This piece is valued now at approximately $1500. This bird is in excellent condition and would be a great addition to any collection of Herrmann's work. Ward Herrmann is known specifically for his drawings of the covered bridges in the Catskills as well as many other wood carvings such as this cardinal.
