* Washington (William, 1885-1956). The Cricket Bat Maker, 1934, copper engraving, signed and titled in pencil to lower margin, plate size 275 x 218mm (10.75 x 8.6ins), the full sheet 395 x 291mm (15.5 x 11.5ins). Together with a copy of Quilt Winders and Pod Shavers, by Hugh Barty-King (1979) in which this work is illustrated, and a Ben Warsop period cricket bat. The figure depicted in the engraving is understood to be the bat maker Ben Warsop.. (3)
