(1814-1885 American) Portrait of seated gentleman, framed oil on canvas, signed S.B. Waugh lower left, approximately 36" x 29".

Fair, several hole restorations mainly located to left of gentleman's head just above his jacket, couple of small tears along extreme left edge that had been restored and inpainted, several inpaints upper right background near frames edge, on small restoration on gentleman's forehead, and minor scratch lower right just above gentleman's arm.
