WILHELM LOWITH (German, 1861-1932)THE MUSIC RECITAL. Oil on board interior scene shows a group of fancy dressed men in an elegant room setting being conducted in a recital. The instruments include violin, cello, bass fiddle, flute, etc. Another man listens as he sits in a large blue armchair. Signed lower right "W. Lowith 1892". Housed in a gilt molded wood frame. A typed paragraph is on reverse with some history. SIZE: SIGHT: 10" x 8-1/2". CONDITION: Very good, there are very fine horizontal craquelure lines. 9-90822 (2,000-4,000)
