Faye, Wilhelm Petersen, a forgotten painter of the Golden Age, Copenhagen, 1990, no. 211. NOTES Petersen studied at the Academy in Copenhagen in the 1830. The present oil on paper study was executed during his trip in Italy in 1850-2, and shows Lake Garda seen from Nago-Torbole on the northern shore.
