Three shillings and sixpence 1788, in silver, his bust right / barge sailing left, edge : ‘WILLEY SNEDSHILL BERSHAM BRADLEY’ 15.52gm. (D&H Warwickshire 337). Extremely Fine with some mint bloom.

Very rare - Only 100 struck. The silver issue was quickly withdrawn and later given away privately as medals. The boat shown on the reverse is the world’s first iron barge (the ‘Trial’) and was constructed at Wilkinson’s ironworks at New Willey and launched on the 6th. July 1787.
