William Crampton Gore RHA (1871-1946) BUNDORAN, COUNTY DONEGAL signed and dated [1930] lower left; inscribed lower right oil on panel 23 by 41cm., 9 by 16in. Provenance: Artist's family; Private collection, Co. Down By the late 1920s Crampton Gore had taken up residence in the south of France, but continued to visit friends and family in Ireland. He painted a number of works in Donegal in the early 1930s, some of which he exhibited at the RHA.
