BOATS IN THE LOCK - an original panorama seascape watercolor C.1880 by well listed British Artist William Henry Earp (1831-1914). Signed by the artist. In very good condition ~ mounted on a support sheet. On good thick white watercolor board. With a image size of 7 3/4 x 18 inches. Framed in a good period frame which is free. Some very minor nicks (look at the pictures). READY TO HANG. William Henry Earp was the father of the famous Earp family of artist as well as a cousin to the famous US Marshall Wyatt Earp. Earp is a well collected artist with over 40+ auction houses and galleries having sales of his work. Earp's work is considered central to the watercolor movement in Victorian England. Earp's work is in many British and European Museums.
