Geological Map of Long Island and Staten Island with the Environs of New York, from Geology of New York, Part I lithographed map with hand-coloring, 1842, on wove paper, published by Endicott, New York, with margins, central and auxiliary vertical folds (as issued), pale light- staining, the colors slightly faded, remains of old binding glue showing through, otherwise apparently in very good condition, in a black-painted wood frame with gilded trim and a gilded undermat, not examined out of the frame L. approx. 25 x 53 in. (634 x 1345 mm.).
