H.M.S. Britannia was a 100-gun First Rate launched at Portsmouth in October 1762. After extensive service during the French Revolutionary and Napoleonic Wars, she was renamed Princess Royal in 1812 and, after two further changes of name (St. George, 1812 and Barfleur, 1819), she was finally broken up in 1825.
