Williams-Ellis (David, 1959-). Mermaid, frosted glass sculpture of a mermaid with arms outstretched, height 44.5cm (17.5ins) David Williams-Ellis was born in Ireland in 1959 and studied with Signorina Nerina Simi in Florence, at Carrara, and finally in London at the Sir John Cass School of Art with Clive Duncan. He was elected to the Royal Cambrian Society in 1993 and lives and works in Cumbria, Wales and London. (1)
