Still the survivors held it & c., monochrome watercolour depicting a group of soldiers with rifles in the Boer War, captioned to upper margin, signed lower right, 23.4 x 16.5cm (9.25 x 6.5ins), mounted on backing board, together with soldiers marching beside horse & cart, monochrome watercolour, signed & dated 1900 to right edge, 16.5 x 25.5cm (6.5 x 10ins). These images were possibly used as illustrations for the Illustrated London News.. (2)
