By Nakayama Komin (1808-1870), late 19th century
Discreetly embellished in gold takamakie with two sprays of ominaeshi with details inlaid in gold and silver kirigane, the lower left with a simulated crack and repair in the form of three metal staples, extending down to the left side, the base signed in gold lacquer Komin with kakihan. 28cm (11in) diam. (2).
