SIGNED AND DATED (MAKER'S MARKS) signed ARTIST'S NATIONALITY Dutch MATERIAL/MEDIUM oil on panel PUBLISHED CONDITION NOTE The panel and paint surface are in generally good condition; very fine craquelure and some minor pigment separation in scattered areas; the varnish is slightly yellowed. Under ultraviolet light: a large area of inpainting on the floor in the lower right quadrant; fine retouches to the figure and the chair, to the mantle and the objects on it and to the globe on the table.
