Yogesh Rawal's paintings and collages are imbued with a sense of solitude. The artist explores light, and by extension his internal consciousness, in his works. As he says, "My works stem from a personal conversation with myself." His kaleidoscopic juxtapositions of color, line and form combining a variety of media, as in the present lot, may be viewed as a creative expression of these internal dialogues.
