Lot 44: Zeno Hodge Lot of 8 Sketch Studies Male Portraits

From the artist's portfolio: Zeno Hodge (American, b. 1896) lot of eight charcoal portraits/studies of men; possibly including a portrait of one of the Hoosier Group, the last is a self portrait. Largest: approx. 25" x 19". Hodge studied at the Herron School of Art in Indianapolis ca. 1917-1918, under the instruction of Hoosier Group artists William Forsyth and Otto Stark, as well as Clifton Wheeler.
