In contrast to the previous work, this piece shows a panoramic view of Palermo from the south west. Our gaze is led over the wide stretches of land before the city, which in Zerilli's time were still undeveloped, towards the open water of the Bay of Palermo.

Im Gegensatz zur vorherigen Arbeit zeigt dieses Blatt ein Panorama Palermos von einem süd-westlichen Standpunkt aus. Der Blick geht über die weiten, seinerzeit noch unbebauten Ebenen vor der Stadt hinaus auf das offene Wasser der Bucht vor Palermo.
