Chanel Bracelets

The Chanel design house is the epitome of classic chic. With the launch of her first independent hat boutique in the heart of Paris in 1910, Coco Chanel quickly rose in popularity among the French elite. Though at the time she was limited to millinery alone (a nearby dress shop precluded her chance at expanding into fashion), her immediate success allowed her to soon after open a new clothing boutique.

Keeping with the times and yet ever innovating, Chanel expanded her offerings into the realm of jewelry by the mid-1920s. In addition to pearls, one of Chanel’s classic staples, Chanel bracelets featured a variety of materials and ranged from utilitarian to unique. Throughout these designs, however, one can sense the classic imprint of Chanel herself, the ultimate style maven of the early 20th century.
