Chanel Rings

When you think Chanel, you think Coco Chanel. Her sense of style changed the world, and her logo of the intertwined C’s became one of the most recognizable logos to exist. In 1909, Gabrielle, then given the nickname "Coco," opened a small hat store in Paris The store was frequented by the rich and famous of the era, and its success allowed Coco to start selling clothing designed by herself.

Rebelling against the then-current trends, Chanel created an image of timeless elegance using simple designs that empowered women. Then in 1921, Chanel commissioned a perfume to match her clothing line, and the legendary Chanel No. 5 was born.

Many of Chanel’s rings reflect the monochromatic color scheme for which the brand is famous. The designs exhibit a classical charm without being too old-fashioned. Diamonds of course play an important role in Chanel's rings, either in a straight line or baroque setting.

In more modern Chanel jewelry, white and black ceramic is a popular material. Pearls, a personal favorite of Coco Chanel, are also often used in her designs.
