Military Photos

Since the time of the American Civil war, photographs have helped capture the terror, fear, aftermath, bravery, and brotherhood of wartime. Some of the most popular photos of all time were taken during war. These photos give people at a home a sense of what war is like for troops on the ground. Since war photographs have been around for over a century and a half they have garnered many collectors interested in their historical nature.

These photos are often the only way we can look back on history and see how these wars were fought. Photographs from the American Civil War are incredibly popular, especially among American collectors; however, photos from World War I became more action-oriented due to lower exposure times. These modern photos have captured moments in time that are stunning and cause us to reflect on the sacrifice of the men and women who fought in these faraway places.
