Norman Rockwell Figurines

Norman Rockwell is one of the most recognized and respected 20th-century American artists. Today, ceramic Norman Rockwell figurines featuring his famed cover illustration figures garner increasingly higher prices in part because they serve as a reminder of just how well Rockwell captured the American experience.

Rockwell's career as a painter and illustrator took off in the early 1910s, but it was not until 1916, when Rockwell enjoyed his first "Post" cover illustration, that Rockwell became a household name. As his success continued to climb, Rockwell's covers became coveted, with some of his more popular imagery, like his "Four Freedoms" series, celebrated in a limited edition print run following their debut.

By the end of the 20th century, Norman Rockwell souvenirs expanded, with ceramic figurines of his featured characters growing in popularity. This tradition continues today, with Norman Rockwell figurines by David Grossman still in production.
