Star Trek

”Star Trek” began in 1966 and is a cultural icon today. “Star Trek” is among the most famous television, movie, and toy series productions in modern-day history. From action figures to space crafts, plastic models, and children’s costumes, “Star Trek” is a global infatuation worth $30 billion annually.

Trekkies and collectors today vie for the rare, highly coveted pieces that were produced during the 50-year run of “Star Trek.” Among these are the Dinky Toys die-cast metal replica of the Starship Enterprise as well as the Klingon battle cruiser. “Star Trek” collectors also seek out comic books from Gold Key, Marvel, and D.C. Comics.

Today’s “Star Trek” collectors seek original stage props and materials used in the numerous movies and television series. Many of those props have risen in value so high that they have become unreachable to common collectors.
