        Harold Copping (British, 1863-1932) Christ and Labour watercolour, bears label verso 15½in x 18½in (39.25cm x 47cm), framed. Typed label from Rev.J.M.M'Cormick, dated September 1949, and inscribed 'This picture was executed by the great Harold Copping the most famous artist for religious pictures in the last fifty years. We wanted him to paint a picture of "Christ and Labour" and he gave us this rough sketch as a sample. We met him about the year 1925 in London, England. He died a few years ago.'
