    GemäldepaarSTILLLEBEN MIT FRÜCHTEN, BLUMEN UND FEDERVIEH Öl auf Leinwand. Doubliert. Je 98 x 133,5 cm. In dekorativen Rahmen. Beigegeben eine Expertise von Mina Gregori, Florenz, in Kopie. Das eine Stillleben zeigt auf einer Platte einen großen Kohlkopf, mehrere angeschnittene Wassermelonen, sowie einige Früchte wie Birnen, Äpfel und Feigen. Rechts auf einem Absatz sind eine gefüllte Glaskanne, ein Messer und eine angeschnittene Wurst sowie eine Schale zu finden. An der rückseitigen Wand hängen an Nägeln diverse Teile von Tieren. Das andere Gemälde zeigt erneut Früchte auf einer Platte, einen Blumenstrauß in einer Vase, sowie ein großes Stück Käse, dahinter an der Wand hängt diverses Federvieh herab. Qualitätvolle Malerei mit starken Hell-Dunkel-Kontrasten. Laut Frau Gregori lassen die beiden Werke ihren toskanischen Ursprung erkennen, wie die Arbeiten von Jacopo da Empoli (1551-1640) aus den 1620er Jahren zeigen. Aufgrund ihrer Größe und des Elementreichtums sind diese beiden Stillleben als wichtige Beispiele im Schaffen des Künstlers zu sehen. (1421991) (18) Astolfo Petrazzi, 1579 Siena – 1665 ibid.     Point of the brush and red wash. 393 by 272 mm. This drawing was formerly attributed to Agostino Scilla, but is in fact typical of Petrazzi's style. A corpus of drawings by Petrazzi was first established by Mr. Philip Pouncey (see 'Trois nouveau dessins de Rutilio Manetti et une hypothese pour Astolfo Petrazzi', Revue de l'Art, no.14, 1971, pp.67-71) a drawing attributed to Petrazzi by Mr. Pouncey has recently been exhibited at the Uffizi (see Florence, Philip Pouncey per gli Uffizi, 1993-1994, no.28).
