Katherine M. Schneider was a painter, sculptor, and printmaker with over 35 years of experience. Her art training includes painting and printmaking at the College of Charleston, study in New York with acclaimed painter Daniel Greene, and two years study in the studio of Charleston sculptor, Willard Hirsch. Schneider's paintings have been exhibited in museums and galleries including The Columbia Museum of Art, The Gibbes Museum of Art, The Etheridge Center for Fine Arts, and The Halsey Institute for Contemporary Art. She was a member of the Portrait Society of America and had been juried into membership in the Oil Painters of America. Her paintings are in corporate and private collections in Germany, Mexico, and the United States.
