    Portrait of Rubens, almost half-length in profile, head turned to glance towards the viewer, wearing a voluminous dark velvet coat with the edge of a chain visible over shoulder, and fringed white shirt collar, with fair wavy hair and pointed moustache and beard; after the self-portrait by the Master; second state with publishers address of Jean-Marc Pascal. 1778 Mezzotint. With the collection stamp of that was reserved for his best prints: 'Sur ses plus belles estampes étaient apposées soit la marque ES dans un double ovale (voir L.4190), soit celle trouvé ici (L.4191).' On his most beautiful prints were affixed either the ES mark in a double oval (see L.4190), or the one found here.'
