Auf chamoisfarbenem Vélin. 33,7 x 50 cm. Im Passepartoutausschnitt leicht gebräunt, etwas angestaubt, mit vereinzelten Farbspuren sowie verso mit Kleberesten in den oberen Ecken. Beiliegt: ders., Kartoffelernte - Blumenpflücken. 2 Bll. Lithographien um 1920/50. (Dehmel I/25 und III/2). Beide signiert und nummeriert „19“ bzw. „20“ sowie Bl. 2 mit persönlicher Widmung. Condition: The sheet is toned, light-stained and creased. The sheet is partially slightly dusty. There is staining in the upper right corner. There are squeeze marks in the upper and lower margin on the left. There are remains of a former mount on the reverse as well as various pencil inscriptions. The dimensions of the depiction are 28.5 x 43 cm and the sheet measures 38.2 x 54.3 cm. Hugo Troendle (1882-1955) Troendle began his studies in 1900 at the Kunstgewerbeschule in Karlsruhe as well as at the Academy of Fine Arts, where he studied under Ludwig Schmid-Reutte, Emil Lugo and Hans Thoma. In Munich he met Alexej von Jawlenski, during his stay in Paris, he studied with Paul Sérusier and Maurice Denis. Above all, he was impressed by the work of Paul Cézanne. In 1914 he became a member of the International Artists' Association and, in 1921 the New Secession. In addition, he worked as a teacher and writer on art.
