          Le Progrès de séduction. Paris, s.n., 1833. In-4, monté sur onglets, demi-maroquin brun, tête dorée, couverture (Babin). Nouveau tirage de la suite Un an de la vie d'une jeune fille (1824) comprenant 15 planches lithographiées par Villain (9) et Engelmann (6) d'après Émile Wattier en coloris de l'époque, avec la couverture comportant le titre. Cette réédition extrêmement rare ne semble référencée nulle part. Les deux dernières planches de la suite de 1824, qui donnaient à l'histoire un dénouement plus favorable, n'ont pas été reprises. Mors frottés.

La seconda opera è firmata in basso a sinistra: Emile Wallier inv. pinx. Emile Wattier nacque a Parigi e nel periodo giovanile fu allievo di Gros. Espose al Salon dal 1831 al 1868. La sua arte si ispirò alla pittura rocaille del XVIII secolo e in particolare a Francois Boucher.           Charles-Emile Wattier (1800-1868), « L’Embuscade », vers 1860-1870 Esquisse préparatoire au crayon sur papier, pour une feuille d’éventail. Une kyrielle d’amours se presse, chacun décochant ses flèches, vers un couple enamouré au centre de la composition. Signé en bas à gauche « Emile Wattier inv. ». Porte le titre manuscrit « L’Embuscade ». A l’emplacement de la gorge, mention manuscrite au crayon : « Exécuté pour Alexandre et /acheté par Lord Granville ». H. 32,5 cm x L. 55,5 cm N.B.: S. Blondel mentionne la feuille de Wattier dénommée « L’embuscade » dans son ouvrage de référence, « Histoire des éventails (…) », 1875, p. 190. Wattier travaillait pour l’éventailliste de l’impératrice Eugénie, Félix Alexandre.
