Con il 1716 e l'apertura di un proprio atelier, ottiene innumerevoli commissioni, specialmente per adornare abitazioni private e chiese.         Matita rossa su carta vergellata color crema con filigrana "abete su cartiglio con fiori" (Germania ca. 1787). mm 210x303. Da uno dei pannelli per la chiesa dei Gesuiti di Anversa eseguiti da Rubens tra il 1620 e il 1621. Jacob De Wit ne trasse dei disegni da consegnare a Jan Punt (Amsterdam, 1711-1779) per la tiratura delle relative incisioni. Il disegno si configura piuttosto come esercitazione probabile dall'incisione di Jan Punt come pare confermare la carta che presenta una filigrana tedesca di fine XVIII secolo. (1)
